My love for design began more than 15 years ago. I started with the only tool I had, Microsoft Paint, but luckily, it’s been a while since then.

As a student, I started freelancing - designing for small businesses. I also spent a lot of time designing marketing materials for non-profit organizations.

Fast forward to University, I pursued a degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems, as well as an accounting designation after graduation. While I gained valuable business knowledge that I use to this day, and enjoyed the analytical work, it never felt like the right fit. I constantly encountered pain points that I believed could be solved through better-designed products, and that possibility was what excited me most! At this point, I had been studying UX/UI on my own time. Eventually, this led to a design concept… that led to an opportunity to design products at the second largest accounting firm in the world.

Since starting my product design journey, my career opportunities have brought me to Hong Kong. To date, my product design experience has mainly been in fintech, ranging from traditional banking to crypto, and hopefully more to come.
